Laura and Almanzo promises Royal that they will take care of his daughter.
Jenny is devastated when her father dies. Wanting so much to be with him,
she tries to commit suicide by drowning. Despite being unable to swim,
Jeb Carter is able to pull her to safety. Later, Jenny realizes how selfish
she has been and promises to make her father proud.
