Malone,
New York in the Present
While
the last of the original Wilder barns was destroyed by fire about 35 years
ago, the large cattle and hay barn has been rebuilt authentically. The Wilder
home has been almost completely restored and is open for tours. The furnishings
are similar to the ones that the Wilders would have owned. The house is
just as it was described in the books.
