Supplies:
- Bread
- Butter
- brown paper
- smoked herring
(optional)
- lemon juice
- sugar
- fresh lemons (optional)
- ice cubes
- tin cups or glasses
Instructions:
- Put butter on
bread, then wrap each sandwich carefully in brown paper.
- To make lemonade,
fill a juice container with cold water. Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice,
then add sugar to taste (appox 1/2 cup)/ You can add slices of lemon.
Add ice cubes to keep cold.
- When you get to
picnic site, spead blanket on ground. When you are ready to eat, put
the herring on your sandwich. Pour lemonade into tin cups.
- Enjoy!!
